Default 300h&h

Looks like Winchester is offering it in some of their models.

I have a Ruger #1 chambered in the .300 H&H. It's a keeper IMO.

I love the 300 H&H.
I guess for the same reason I love the 35 Whelen, the 9.3 Mauser, and the 375 H&H.
Call me an old fuddy dud.

I have an old Remington model 721 in 300 H&H. bought it more then 35 years ago. as someone said, its a keeper. love the caliber. gets almost the velocity of 300 win mag and weatherby 300 mag without all the powder and recoil.

A lot of the remington 721 300h&h were punched out to 300 wby. So one in the original 300 h&h is petty collectable.

my brother did that to one. it shot great and was fun to shoot. I got mine a few years later but left mine as is. its retired now but gets shot every year to make sure its still sighted in. just in case something happens to the 06.

Great cartridge. If I was in the market for a 300, the H&H would be the one I'd choose. It would go great with my 375 H&H. Now that would be a classy combo.
