Default Shotgun recommendations

My mom and dad said their thinking bout buying me a shotgun for xmas and asked what one id want.
I have always been a fan of the mossberg 500 but i want a semi auto shotgun. Id like to get into duck and geese hunting

So what semi auto shotgun do you recommend
Im thinking a benelli but dont wonna blow 1000 dollars on a shotgun

****** MP-a is a very mice semi auto, make sure you get the field version not a tactical version if your looking to hunt with it.

Trying to recommend a shotgun is like trying to recommend a girlfriend. Best thing to do is look at as many as you can, get your hands on them, see which one fits best and feels right and then hope it makes you happy! By the way, this is a good rule of thumb when thinking about guns too!

Good advice IMO. A shotgun has to fit you right.

Check out the beretta a300 outlander. A lot of gun for the money IMO.
