hi, I was wondering if you guys could help, I have a 20 gauge with modified choke (Im not worried about the gauge) Im worried about the choke, will a modified work shots on pheasants and similar?

A modified choke is probably one of the best " all-around" chokes you can have. It is very versatile and handles a variety of shot sizes well. I don' t see where it would be a problem hunting pheasants or anything else.

I shoot a mod. for everything upland and waterfowl,one thing withthat 20 ga. stoke her with some 3" No.6' s ,gives ya some more pellets in the air and a little range.Unless you are over dogs,it will tear them up.
