Default Appleseed and Hunting.

Have any of you heard of the Appleseed Project? And if you have what is keeping you from attending one?

Default Appleseed and Hunting.

I've heard of it, but time seems to elude me mostly.

I've never heard of it until now.
But then I live in a cave with wolves.

Heard of it, never went to one. Agree with the idea that the general public should be able to functionally operate and safely handle a firearm, not so sure I agree with pushing the surrounding politics of Appleseed, or the fundamental reason why they're encouraging nationwide firearms experience (to fight back against an oppressive government).

I took my daughter to an event last year...was very unimpressed with the quality of instruction and lack of attention (too many inexperienced shooters not enough good "instructors"). If the others are as poorly run as the one I attend it won't be long till a bad accident happens at one. I was hoping to find kids (girls) my daughters age for her to bond with more than "learning" how to shoot...great idea, but they need more "supervision" and better focus on safety.
