You talk about hitting the nail on the head!!! The fate was already decided, implemented and finalized. The site has been done for a few years now.

Now we have a few that can't wait to jump on any OP, that they can belittle or gang up on.

I can agree with you that the site is less than it was but would have to politely disagree that it is done. HNI currently has no plans to discontinue the site and still makes money from it. The "quality" of the site ebbs and flows from time to time but there are still a lot of posters who share quality information, expertise and ideas with the membership, including on this forum. Strangely enough, each member has a stake in the quality of the site and, somewhat perversely, also has the ability to help control the quality of this site. That's right--each member can either make the site better or worse as far as quality, content, etc. And each day a member logs into HNI, they can make that decision afresh. To contribute quality or not to contribute--that is the question as Shakespeare might have said. :wink::D
