I just picked up a amost new Rem. 1100 with syn. stock and a rifled barrel. I know that all gun shoot alittle different, but was wondering what slugs shoot best in your 1100s?[8D]

My suggestion is go and buy different brands and try them in your 1100.I haven' t shot slugs for a long time.I used to use Breneke(sp?)and Winchesters. Like I said it' s been a long time and there has been improvements made over the years.

i bought a rem 1100 in 98' .
i have the 21" rifled barrel with the iron sights. i have found that the rem copper solids shoot about 3-5" at 100yds. ( i know i will get alot of flak for this ) but i hae found that the rem lead slugs shot just as good. plus they are 10X cheaper!

My guns an 870 with iron sights... but it likes both the standard and high-velocity Winchester .50 sabots in 3" , 1 oz. I have also found that the good `ol Remington Sluggers shoot pretty decent too but I haven' t done an in-depth range evaluation with them.
