For your information, Ridge Runner asked me to delete them for him. I refused to do it, because I didn't want him to leave and, and it would be a loss of a ton of great info. Ridge Runner deleted all the posts himself, as far as I know.

I too don't know any of the details but applaud deerdust for how he's handling his moderator duties/responsibilities. It isn't always easy being a mod and you often walk a fine line where you agree with what's being said but still have to edit out rules violations. It's sad to see valuable members leave and yes, that does have a measurable negative effect on the website, our members and even those who just lurk to learn.

Sad to see you go RR. Thanks for all the help over the past five or six years or however long I've been on here. Will miss your posts. I'm adding your email to my contacts and will be in touch.

Colorado, apology accepted and no hard feelings. Please understand, it is not an easy task being a mod. I understand that tempers will flare when all the facts aren't known, and people judge by what they can see. I am not in a place to always be able to divulge the facts of a members personal issues. That is up to them. I came to this site many moons ago to have fun and learn and share, just as everyone else.
