Default Broom handle Mauser

I have a chance to pick up a Broom handle and I am having a hard time to find another like it. This one has less of the sides machined away meaning the sides are more flat and it also has a selector switch on the left hand side of the gun, in the down position it points to the letter R up is the letter N... It also has a couple Chinese symbols on the mag well, But it has markings from Mauser also .. Any info is appreciated .. Thanks

Don't know a lot about them, but I know China made some copies in .45 ACP. I would check on that.

Don't go near it. It is full auto.

It's rare alright and illegal to have in your possession without jumping through a lot of hoops with the Feds since it's a selective fire semi-auto that can be switched to full auto with that selector switch you mentioned.

It might be on the C&R list, if you have an 03FFL. If you don't you'd have to do the ATF paperwork for a tax stamp. At any rate, the owner should either have a tax stamp or an 03FFL. If it's an estate gun there are ways the family can legally sell them. If it's somebody who doesn't meet any of the above conditions you should have nothing to do with them.
