Okeefe Report on Ammo Shortage... American rifleman

Here is something I ran into and figured a few of you in the forum might be interested in some further insight when it comes to the lack of ammo.

I agree that much of the problem is a few "Alpha Hotel"s that are hoarding and/or speculating. These greedy guys are making life difficult for others. Some of these sad individuals are proud of their actions.

He's right,i've seen it happen @ walmart and bass pro. It's the alarmist syndrome !

Yeah, thats fine if you can actually get components. I have two new guns that I've been trying to get components for and can't for the past few months. Sucks and pisses me off.

I couldn't be happier to have seen this coming...no shortage in my house except for the need for some 223 brass because I gave a bunch away last summer to a friend...

Yeah, if I only had enough foresight to know I was gonna buy two guns that I wasn't planning on....I could have gotten what I needed ahead of this mess. LOL. Oh well, it will sort out eventually. I'm hoping that prices don't stay at the "gouge us" level too long and all the hoarders get burnt for their greed.
