Can anyone give any opinions on the Bushnell scopechief? Is it Bushnell' s low-mid-high end line. Is it comparable to the 3200? Does it have the rainguard technology? Any advice or opinions of this scope is appreciated. Thanks.

The scopechiefs were at the bottom of the Bushnell scopes. No they don' t have the rainguard protection, nor are they anywhere near the scope of the 3200' s. The scopechief line has since been replaced by the sportman line. The bushnell lines run, sportman, banner, trophy, legend, 3200, then 6400 in order from lowest quality to highest.

I' ve used the low line Bushnells many times in my life with complete satisfaction.
I once was carring a .270 slung over my shoulder and I slipped walking down hill in the snow. I hit the eyepiece of the " cheap" Bushnell on a rock and damaged the eyepiece and it let oxygen into the scope and it fogged up.
I returned the scope to Bushnell and they repaired it " FREE" and returned it to me in less than 10 days.
I' ve even used one on a .375 Mag with no trouble.
