And this is why it belongs in the gun forum. With the 5-4 Supreme Court rulings in the Heller and McDonald cases we can't afford to have the next president nominate a justice that will vote against the 2nd ammendment. The next president will nominate at least 1, possibly 2 justices. At least 1 of those justices voted in the majority in the two recent cases. The next major restriction on our 2nd ammendment rights will not come from the legislative or executive branches, but from the judicial branch.

When the time comes you'll have to make a decision. Will you just let them have your firearms? Let them control every aspect of your life? I'm not militant but from my cold dead hands sounds about right to me. We as a country cannot afford to let them win this battle. Maybe the good law abiding citizens of this country should think about it's time to speak out against tyranny and take charge once again. Set the slate clean so to speak. Foreign and Domestic I believe it says.

MNDan, Since the election of Obama, the tax on guns and ammo has increased significantly. This is the back door to removing guns from the home. If you can't take them outright, you make it impossible to pay for them. It is the same as taking the right away from the people.
But you would have to put a little thought into it first.

The Heller and McDonald decisions allow for "reasonable" gun controls, without definition. Do you think that there is ANY gun control measure that a liberal dominated Supreme Court would find to be unreasonable?

why dont you just give up your guns now. you apparently do not watch the news or read crap about the issues that will be up. obama is in support of the ATT that the UN was trying to push through, it would of essentially made it so they could of taken your guns away. look at his voting record when it came to gun controls. you just go ahead and vote for obama and see what will happen. he will be replacing another supreme court member most likely if not 2. see how your second amendment rights stand up or for that matter any of your rights. he wants to lead this country down the socialist path. he is an enabler of the lazy and an entitleist.
