Does any gun company make a 270 with open sites?

OK..I have a 270 Remington 700 ..It looks like Remington makes a site that will fit that rifle..I need to investicate. I have a friend who does very good gun work..For me it's free.I'll have him check it out.

I like the 270 better than the 30-30 for it's stopping power.

I know the older Remington 700's have iron sights. I took the sights off my 7mm which is a BDL model but ADL also has iron sights.

What do you mean by "open sites".

I have a Browning X-bolt stainless stalker and it doesn't have any sights.

So, if that is your question; now-a-days everyone makes .270 with no sights.

i have never seen anyone prove that a 270 has +/- stopping power than a 30-06. i think you are referring to iron sights. most henry's come with them on there. alot of rifles these days are made to have scopes or dot sights on em, so may be a lil hard to find. imo iron sights are good fer about 100 yards on an animal. and if yer stayin in that range, might as well stay with a 30-30

ohhh.my bad...still..hard to say a 270 has "more or less" knockdown power. its just starting an argument that could go from now til the end of time. personally, i think my 30-30 booms harder.
