mossberg 500 testimony
#1

Today me and a few buddies decided to shoot some clays, I'm home on leave and they are both home from college so we figured why not. i shoot a mossberg 500 12 gauge and a winchester sx3 12 gauge, my other buddy shoots a mossberg 500 20 gauge, and my other a charles daly semi auto and a stoeger over/under both 12 gauge. It was rainy and snowy all day and about 20 degrees (great day for shooting
haha) Me and my other buddy with the mossberg both easily shot 300+ rounds through them all day, no jams no problems nothing. My buddys charles daly jammed up so much with all the mud and rain and snow a lot of problems. Our mossbergs just kept trucking through it all. At the end of the day we stripped them down and cleaned the hell out of them, great day shooting. Call me crazy but I would take my mossberg over my sx3 any day. I know its a inexpensive gun and they by no means attractive guns but I love mine to death and wouldnt trade it for the world.

I was surprised myself but Mossberg actually has a muzzle loader barrel available for the 500.See it here-

Wish I knew about this before I traded mine in for the 835.

i saw on youtube a guy turn a single shot shotgun into a ML. They took an empty shotgun shell and cut off all the plastic untill it was just the brass and took out the powder and watting. he just left the primer and bought a whole pack of primers. He slips the brass in, which is used as the ignition system. He then pours black powder down the barrel and then his shot. after he shoots it he just slips out the brass and replaces the primer. I dont think thats how these work though. But the guys idea for turning a shotgun into an ML seems like its perfectly legal and would pass a an ML for seasons, unless they don't allow inlines.
