I shoot Garrett Hard cast bullets 305gr. with my load I have killed 6 deer with this load the longest shot has been 115 yds and the closest was 15 yds all fell in thier tracks the 44 is A superb round you just need to know your gun and your limitations I shoot alot. The best advise I can give is practice,pracitce,practice I probably shoot 2000 rounds a year with pistol and rifle just know your gun I hope this helps Chad
