Lighter weight for a rifle I will be dragging around the mountains is best for me !

Afterall, I expect to be making just one shot...............

I, also, would prefer lighter weight...a half pound on your shoulder all day will make a difference.

I would also go lighter. You won't feel the recoil on game. and at the range you can manage your shots and your recoil.
