Default 1st Range Report (Laugh My Butt Off)

So I went to the range this morning. I took both new rifles. The first is the Remington 700 300 RUM with the $700 dollar Leupold and the 500 dollars worth of gunsmith work. I was shooting $50 dollar a box premium ammo. Now don't get me wrong, it is a shooter. I was highly impressed, even with me shooting it!!
The other rifle was a Remington ADL 700 22.250. It's the cheapest model 700 out there and it has a 4x12x50 cloudy Simmons scope on it that I took in trade. Zero gunsmith work. I was shooting Winchester white box. It shot circles around the RUM. I could not believe how good that gun shot. Sometimes you just get a shooter out of the box. I was planning on having some smith work done to it but that won't be the case now.!!!LMAO!!

CO - How's the recoil on the 300RUM with that muzzle brake on it?

I'd say it is about like a 25.06 to a 30.06. With my surgeries, I could not shoot it without the brake. In my younger days, no problem.

Not sure, its really a fair comparison. Shear powder differences alone with consistent burning from one to the other could make the differences.
