I have two savage rifles in 300 win mag and they both kick the same,one is a 110FP tactical rifle bull barrel and synthetic stock and heavy,the other is a wooden stock 110E sporter both have recoil pads and kick about the same despite the weight difference.I had rather shoot them compared to an old remington sportsman 78 that I once owned in 30-06 with 165 grainers it was a real kicker with no recoil pad,sold it to a freind that has owned it for 20 years and wont part with it...

Alright thanks for the info. I didn't know if it'd feel like a 30-06 or a 458 Win Mag LOL
