Just a thought,Thompson Center must pay every hunting show made to use their guns! They are on every show you see.

How else are they gonna be able to charge $700 for a $250 rifle?

The biggger the company, the bigger the marketing & advertising budget.

BTW - That means Sako's is almost nothing in comparison.

I've just seen Savage as a sponsor on "Hunting with the Judge" (versus network) and of course Remington sponsors Mike Hanback's show. Also see Winchester has (and sponsors) the "Winchester Whitetail something-or-other" show. I think Remington was always a sponsor of "Buckmasters". Sako A7 sponsors "The Bucks of Tecomate" and Sako 85 sponsors "Federal Premium Dangerous Game". Thompson Center sponsors the one with "Mr. Whitetail" but not sure about any others.

Aren't they owned by Smith and Wesson? Got to be a lot of marketing money there....
