leverolution

Has anyone used any of the Hornady leverevolution ammo in the .35 remington? If so, how does it perform on game? My wife bought me a Marlon XLR for Christmas and I was thinking about using these. I shot them in my Marlin 336SC (1951 vintage) and they looked good on paper.

Hope we see the full answer you expected. You did answer two of my three original questions. As far as hunting, I have had full confidence in Hornady bullets for decades.
I got mini-retired last hunting season, and am looking forward to using leverevolution Hornady bullets and Hodgdon powder in some reloading.
It definitely adds life to the old Marlin lever actions. And .35 Remington is one of my old favorites.
Can't wait to do some reloading and shooting in the spring. Anyone with a light body frame or recoil conscious, it will be a definite plus. Go Marlin .35 Remington.

I've never used them in a 35 but shoot them in my 3030 all the time and I'm impressed with them. They shoot better than most factory ammo have the same poi as 170gr powerpoints @100 yards but have do so much more knockdown. The deer I've shot with em droped on the spot
