Help me!!!!!
My dad has a Mossberg 100 ATR in 30-06 topped with a Nikon Pro Staff 3x9x40 with the BDC reticle. Now,ive tried to sight this rifle in,the closest i can get it to hit is 3'' low & 3'' to the left at 75 yards, and if you try to adjust the scope to hit the bullseye it will not move the point of impact. The stock on the very end of the stock the stock is like its warped to the right causing pressure to the barrel. I know its not from me being a bad shot cause i can drive tacks with my Rem. 700 in 30-06. HELP!!!!

New gun or not, I'd call Mossberg and tell them your story. They may want you to send it back. If they won't do anything, I'd remove the forend pressure. Guns normally tend to shoot away from pressure spots, so right-side pressure can mean left-side POI. Be sure you get your crosshairs re-centered in the scope. There may be other underlying problems as well... mounts on correctly and all screws tight??

New gun all screws are tight and scope mounts are installed correctly. I think that may be the problem,if i remove the stock and sand off a little bit of the fore-end so there is no pressure on the barrel maybe this will help?
