Default Looking for a 7mm, which would you buy ?

I'm looking for a good 7mm rifle to add to my cabinet. I am just getting into buying rifles so I'm looking for any advice or Pros/Cons of certain makers. Any input will be greatly appreciated

Most new rifles are of good quality. It really depends on your budget. Stay away from the budget basement priced guns, IMO you get what you pay for. I prefer Browning, look to Savage for value.

I am looking for a bolt. Prefer Stainless and wood but as far as Rem Mag, WSM, Wby Mag, 7mm-08... That's up in the air yet.

Well there's many good choices out there it all comes down to how much you wanna pay. I like remingtons and tikkas myself a tikka T3 is a fine rifle they can be had for around 600 also Remington 700sps is good it's also about 600 if you wana go cheaper you could getta remington 700 adl for about 400 the weatherby vanguards are good guns too the plainjane one is 399 those are the ones I like but it's all in what feels the best to you.

All I can say is this is what I purchased..............................After a lot of research

Sako A7 Stainless in 7MM Rem Mag (and I love it !).

This was my next purchase; Browning X-Bolt Stainless Stalker in .338 Win Mag (I wished all my rifles were this good).

me I'm partial to my 7 x 57 (or 7mm mauser). I'm right found of the round sort of hard to find ammo but I roll my own anyway

I've always thought the 280 Remington was an under rated cartrige.

I'd 700, I think it's the cdl SF finish that you'll like if I remember right. I'm a sucker for 7s, and it's hard to go wrong with 'em.

I would personally go for a 7mm-08 or 7 mag in a weatherby Vanguard, lots of rifle for the money and they shoot great. the only reason to go 7 mag over 7mm-08 is if you are hunting elk or moose, or expecting to make ridiculous long shots. out to 200 i would take a 7mm-08 against anything in the US.
