Default Benelli Nova pump owners!!

Hi there. Just bought me a Benelli Nova Pump with rifled barrel bout a month ago. Didn't have a chance to take a swing at it yet, but I will next weekend. Just wanna know which slugs are the most accurate, not that slugs can produce fine groups anyways, out of the box? Don't feel like slug hunting at the price that sabots are available for. Fed Prem as stated by Benelli themselves? Any thoughts? Thanks!

The answer is that you need to do some research and buy several brands of slugs and find which shoots best out of your firearm.

Right off the bat - the first mistake you made is not telling us which gauge shotgun you have or which barrel length. We are not mind readers.

Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot Slug
Remington Premier Core-Lokt Sabot Slug
Remington Premier Copper Solid Sabot Slug

Benelli's rifled barrel for their super nova pump only come in 24" and only comes in 12g which is why I stated as the title "Benelli Nova pump owners!!" Unless if I've been in the hole too long and things updated.

I assumed those who owned any Benelli or have history with Benelli would figure this out. Let me clearify, I apologize.

12G
24" - rifled barrel

Remington Premier Core-Lokt Sabot Slug - been seeing awesome reviews on this one.

I'm still on the verge of making a list. Thanks all!

Big Z, I didn't really understand what he meant at first either, but when he said "I don't feel like slug hunting at the price of that sabots are going for", he meant he didn't want to go "hunting for slugs", not that he didn't want to "hunt with slugs".

That said, I've shot the Fed Premiums out of my Supernova, but sometimes the high brass base hangs up in the chamber, so I'm not a HUGE fan of the feds, but they do group great for me.

I actually tried a box yesterday of Fed Premiums 3". Last two shots were actually what I wanted after adjusting the free sights. Not bad, but this Friday is when my Eotech will come in. Planning on mounting that on top to see what results I can get with it. Pretty excited!

And sometimes I type like how I talk. Sorry for the confusion
