What is the weight of Model 70 syn. stock?

hmmm...I' m not sure on the weight, but I know it' s lighter than the wood stock
The gun with the barrel will probably be around 7.5 to 8 pounds or so. I' m not positive on that, just a guess-timate.lol
If it were me, I like a heavier stock to lower the recoil on the rifle. That' s just me, but I' m not buying the gun

According to Winchester, the Model 70 7mm Rem Mag in SS is 7 lbs, 8 oz.

losthwy ...no I looked at Mcmillan stocks and they weighed 32 ounces ...a very good stock but hefty for mly application ...I ended up getting a garrett accurlite stock put on it...this guy is no longer in business but it ended up being as heavy as a HighTech Bansner stock....If Bansner had been in business thats the stock that is going on the gun otherwise a quality laminate. All depends on the application. Your not saving any weight with those tupperware synthetic junk they put on most factory guns.
