Can anyone tell me what the differeces are between these two models?

Probably about 300 bucks. The icon is their top of the line and venture is a "value packed addition" that followed. I think there is a rebate of about $150 for the icon and $50 for the venture until fall. Looks like the icon has a bedded stock and probably some extras. Thinking of a .300 mag? Great reviews on both models through Cabelas in case you ever go there. Being from Vermont though, you probably don't get out much.
