my frind has an old iver johnson single shot shotgun he said it was made in 1906. the only number on it is nx256. he also said it is not a champion model and that it used black powder shells. non of the shells made now fit in it right. so if anyone has any info would you please let me know? the gun is in good shape and we would like to shoot it. oh and the words on the side of it are worn off. thanks he said it did shoot shells!

I got no info for you other than I'd have the shotgun checked out by a gunsmith for safety.
