380 auto and 380 acp

are these the same? and can 380 acp be shot out of a 380 auto?

Yes, and 9mm Kurz, 9mm browning short, and 9mm Corto are the same thing also.

The 380 acp is the 380 auto. I don't think that I've seen them in any store, but there is a 38 acp. You have to be careful not to confuse reloading data between the 380 acp and the 38 acp. I just bought a Ruger LCP and the cost of ammo is crazy. For the price of just two boxes of ammo you can buy a bullet mold and reloading dies. I just got the dies and I plan on getting the mold real soon. I figure when I get done that I'll be able to make 1000 rounds for under $50.
