Went down to the local shop and signed papers for the little plinker. Now ten day waiting period, moronic. I guess it gives me ten days to go pick up ammo. The gun comes with rings in case I want to scope it up. What would any of you recommend to top it off? I'm just not sure I want to scope it up, but your input is always helpful in case of doing so. I generally stay away from Remington's Rim fire rifles. I had a 597 once, lost the spring that gives you the "last shot hold open" feature. They wanted 40 bux for the part and 30 to ship it. It was like the tiniest of things and here it was going to cost almost 100 dollars to replace, gahhh.
