I have 1. Love it . It shoots 400 fps faster than the 6" Ruger companion gun. Never had the chance to hunt it though 1 tiny little rule change and the revolver is legal but the rifle isn't.

I think you will do fine with any of the 158gn sp or hp bullets. If you hand load I would suggest something like a wide flat nose of 150-160gn .
