I convinced my nephew to get a 257wthby, dont know if he made the right choice, ammo is expensive and it blows massive holes in things. LOL

Why would I stick a brush into a bore again?

You'd prolly shoot in the .2's if you cleaned all that moly out of her...:s3:

I've shot moly hard for 15+ years now, less a single issue and noone I shoot/hunt with is gunning without. Naysayers crack me up though!

I've shot it a few times in my .223's, just never continued using it...don't really know why. Might give it a shot again in the 7mm Rem mag...

yer saying you never cleaned it on 2 k rounds ?
yer saying Molybdenum disulfide is non acidic ?
yer saying moly is not a moisture attractant ?
yer saying dry moly doesnt contain sulfur and sulfur dioxide which when exposed to mositure creates sufuric acid.

ok

I was told that, "cleaning your gun is way over-rated".

zrexpilot 02-11-2010 09:44 AM

isnt going to make me go out and start shooting molly, chemical compositions will be taken to the bank over yer snake oil fodder
