Isn't that the one that Chuck Hawks whined and bitched about? Maybe it was a 223. He's a dingleberry.

If you decide to get the T3, you'll probably stop using your Remingtons. The barrels for the Tikka and Sako are made in the same plant, on the same equipment, and by the same people. That's why Tikka has a 1 MOA guarantee. The Tikka has an extremely crisp and creep-free adjustable trigger, and the smooth operating bolt and amazing accuracy are outstanding.

Tikka, you could do worse. I still prefer Sako's though (75's).

Ditto!!! I picked up one in the .308 caliber 2 years ago. Love that gun and it's a real tack driver too!! The fit and finish is outstanding, and that's what sold me.

If you can spend a few more bucks...................

It's Tikka's bigger brother.......................worth it IMO !

I had 2 tikka's one in 338 fed and 1 in 6.5 x 55. Both had excellent triggers, both shot sub moa. I didn't care for the feel of them. Example deer hunting had 2 338 feds. The one that went to the woods with me was the rebarreled savage in a duramax stock, the tikka went along for back up. I still have 2 338 feds, one is a sako 85 in a mcmillian stock (mimicks the original fact 75 stock) which is my go to gun the other now the back up is the savage. The 6.5 I've got one on a mauser and it's more than I shoot.

Thanks but no thanks. The rifle is definitely not for me. Far too much plastic for me. The stock feels like a toy to me. Long actions for a short action cartridge?? Smooth bolt?? OK-big deal. Too long of a bolt stroke for short action, so it better be smooth. Shoots accurate?? Ya-so do most other rifles.

If you want a rifle that is full of plastic and feels like a toy-then go for it. Not me.

I am sure I will get flamed for saying this. But I doubt if they can dispute the facts. And that is what it is all about. Attack the facts, not the messenger. And the fact is it is a mass produced, homogeneous, piece of plastic.................... Tom.
