best .22 mag round
#4
When I bought my gun I bought every round out there to test out. Remington, Federal Classics, Fed. Premiums, Winchester and CCI. All went for between $8.99 to $12.99/box. I found the TNT' s by CCI worked the best for me...the federal premiums were a close second but seemed to jam in my gun a lot. The TNT' s are extremely fast & accurate, plus they seemed to have the best expansion of all the ones I tested (on gophers), due to their larger opening in the bullet. I would say try them all out and come to your own conclusion since each gun shoots differently, but the TNT' s are the only .22 Mag I will shoot out of my gun now. Hope this helps and have fun

Each gun is different. I have a 882ssv and it likes the remington premiers, followed very close 2nd by the federal classics. It absolutely hated the cci V+ rounds. These are the only 3 I tired so far, but I doubt I' m going to improve on the sub-half inch groups @ 50yds with the remingtons.
