Question chokes and shells

I am planning on buying a ported xx-full turkey choke from mossberg for my mossberg 500. can you shoot buckshot out of that choke?

Also if you have any other recremendations for turkey chokes please do list them.

Thanks

I'm a fan of ported chokes from Rhino. They are expensive but well built and work good in every shotgun I have seen(including Mossberg). It has been my experience that buckshot does not shoot good out of the super full turkey chokes.

The tukey tube is to tight to shoot buckshot through.

................You really might want to try a load of buckshot thru it at a target and see how it patterns for you. Buckshot size, choke size, all add to the variables. As was previously mentioned I doubt that it's gonna pattern well with that choke....but try it or you'll never know.
