I picked up a Browning X Bolt in .243 yesterday. Haven't decided on a scope yet. I am becoming a Browning convert lately, I liked my A Bolt so much I had to have another Browning.

Considering an X-Bolt in my future as well. Never was a big fan of the A-Bolt as they don't feel right to me but something about the X-Bolt is different. What configuration did you get it in? Congrats on the new rifle!

Congrats on a good choice. I like the X-Bolts better than A-Bolts also.

I just got the standard wood stocked, blue barrel version. Accuracy testing will have to wait till it warms up. But in the future I will post pictures of targets and a good range report when the time comes.

Yep great choice. I'd also like the have a similar gun. I'm not sure if I would rather have the X Bolt or the BAR. I might also rather have a 25-06 but I want something similar to that. Who knows if I will ever get it but I'd like to one day. Browning is one of my favorite brands out there.

X2 My A-Bolt 30.06 is the best shooting out of the box rifle I have ever owned(And I have owned a bunch)

I hope you give us a range report after you shoot it. Congrats!
