Default Rem 7400 front sight removal

I did a internet search and could not find out...I have a new 7400 and want to remove the sights. How to remove the front sight blade to get to the screw underneath. Older ones could be tapped out of the dovetail sideways. This one is not a dovetail. Help appreciated.

If its a typical windage drift sight, you push them in from the left and out from the right. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=8...TO_SIGHT_MOVER

I have a pump that uses the same sights. I will look and see if I can tell, but I'm sure there's another screw under the sight itself.

Hmm, interesting. Never seen a 7400 not dovetailed. Maybe take a picture of it. Got me curious.

I took couple pics but my camera just would not show the detail well enough. The blade expands down to a platform that matches the size of the part of the ramp it sits on. I'm wondering if the blade part has a stud/post that rotates into a slot like scope base/ring?
Tried to remove the one screw, but couldn't break it by hand, and it was starting to disfigure the slot like it was kinda soft metal. Not worth messing it up. Maybe get to a smith shop sometime. Thanks everybody.
