Default new clip for A-bolt?

Does anyone know if you can get a 4 round clip for a Browning A-bolt .338 win mag? I realize that a new stock would have to accompany this clip.....if it even exists. I just would like to have a 4 round round clip like the Sako 85 has as opposed to a 3 round clip in the A-bolt.

Before the purists yell at you, what you are looking for is a magazine not a clip.

The only thing you can really purchase for that is what Browning offers and if it came with a 3 round mag. that is prob all you are going to find for it. The hinged floorplate really doesnt allow any longer mags. to be attached to that rifle so what ya got, is what ya got pretty much.

The best thing to do is prob just sell that gun(to me) and go get yourself the Sako with the 4 rounder--J/K -sorta.

with a .338 win mag if the game does not drop dead with 1 bullet ,then the shooter should go back to the range and practice ..unless the recoil makes you flinch and u jerk the trigger ...my opinion 3 bullets is more than enough with the .338 cal .

Most gun makers limit magazine capacity to 3 rounds for magnum cartridges. I'll second DB's comment, it's a magazine not a clip.

Sorry guys "magazine" not clip. I guess I use both terms interchangeably, which is incorrect.

Also, I should clarify, yes I realize you should not need 4 rounds for hunting. My desire to see if a custom 4 round magazine exists for an A-Bolt stems from a dangerous game/self defense basis, not hunting.

I love my A-bolts.....I have 2 and they are all I have ever hunted with in 21 years. One 7mm Rem Mag and the .338 Win Mag. I just have always found it strange that the Sako's are the only rifles I know of today that have 1 more round in the magazine.

Thanks for the responses so far.
