Default Winchester Super X3 "Flanigun"

I've been using a Franchi I-12 shotgun for the past 3 or 4 years and I've had numerous problems with it. Shells getting jammed, shells not even cycling, and the most annoying part is the pin to bring back the bolt falls out and gets lost.
I was wondering what you guys think about getting the WInchester Super X3. I looked at them and they look nice and not too overpriced. I really liked the looks of the Super X3 Flanigun Special Edition. I would only use it for wing shooting though. Don't want to take any chances of turkeys seeing the red on the "Flanigun".
Thanks guys.

My girlfriend's cousin who plays for the NY Giants has Pat shoot at his heart research benefit in Eau Claire Wisconsin every year. That gun is awesome. He said it is on back order by like 8 months I believe. I got to shoot it with the modified magazine, funnest thing ever.

Cool gun definately. My GF's cousin bought it with the mod. magazine for like $9,000 at the auction for the benefit (that is of course with the purpose for raising money).

If you are worried about turkeys seeing the red, you could buy some camo mesh and make a cover for it. Thats what I do with all my wood guns. Thanks to Grandma and her sewing operations.

I had one up until last summer, sold it to buy an ar15 but ended up using the$$$ for bills I dont know what the flinigun is but mine was a 28" 3.5 teflon coated model w/ duratouch stock. It was a fancy version of a browning gold. I liked it alot but it it really only cycled 3.5 shells well. jammed alot and the mag kept throwing 2 shells at a time. sorry to hear about the franchi, I would think an inertia gun would be more reliable, my stoeger 2000 gives me no problems at all.

I have a Super X3 and I'm absolutely head over heels in love with it. I do clean it after each "outing" and so far I'm up to roughly 1200 rounds of 2-3/4" through it with out any trouble with it ejecting. I could talk all day about this gun, but I won't. I think you'll love it for bird hunting, as one of my favorite thing about this gun is how it shoulders and swings.

Good luck!

Ok guys thanks for the input. Now I'm stuck between getting a Super X3 or a Benelli M2. Tough decision, they're both around the same price range
