Default Where to buy modeling clay?

Odd question, right? Well, I'm getting the stuff ready to bed three rifles, but Remington M700 LSS laminated stock, my Savage 10ML-II's laminated stock, and my Savage 111 walnut stock. According to the tracking information, the Devcon Plastic Steel putty I ordered from MidwayUSA (and some other little goodies ), should arrive tomorrow. I need to get some release agent (Kiwi Neutral shoe polish), masking tape, electrical tape, modeling clay and some 1/4' x 28 screws to act as dummy action screws while the epoxy sets.

Everything but the modeling clay I can get at the hardware store, but I don't know where to find modeling clay. I need the kind that is oil based and doesn't harden. Do they sell this stuff at Walmart or do I need to find a art or hobby store?

Mike

hobby lobby. Any paint arts store. Maybe online. I think the local hobby lobby has it. Might call and ask the art teacher at the local school

I got it at WalMart. FWIW I also used rather heavily applied PAM cooking spray as release agent, worked out well.

He's taking them and singing to them and reading a bed time story and making them snug.
