What scope for a 7mm mag?

The base has nothing to do with loading.
If you purchase a Luepold base then it is designed specifially for that make and model of gun so that it doesn't in any way block the chamber opening. I'm sure other bases are built the same way specific to the gun.
I have a one piece on my Remington 700 7mm Mag and a 2 piece on my Remington 700 .223 VTR and neither obstruct the chamber in any way.

The one piece base on the DNZ's doesn't in any way shape or form obstruct you from loading or unloading your gun. But if you want inferior Leupold DD set up then get what you want. I can only offer you advice of experience of using and mounting hundreds upon hundreds of scopes for people over the years. If you don't want to listen to that advice then that is up to you.
