So a buddy has a Savage .243. I can't remember the model number but it's the package combo deal from Wal-Mart. He has had it a little over a year but he isn't the best when it comes to taking care of guns however even with minimal care it seems like being that new it shouldn't have many if any issues. This package is right at $400 + tax new at WalMart.

Is $250 a fair deal for it? Good, great, horrible, or what? I don't really want a .243 but for that price it seems hard to pass up.
