870 for slugs..

870 for slugs..
Well,
I went to the range today and took my 30-30 Marlin..I had tru glo open sites on it as well as my 870 Remington 3 1/2 magnum express gun..
At 50 yds shooting the WInchester ammo from WAlmart { Hollow Points} I was getting groups of a nickle with the 30-30
I put the Improved Cylinder choke in the 870 and was impressed..I was getting coffee cup 3 inch groups with the 2 3/4 inch Winchester hollow points..
My shooting lanes in the thick swamps of Florida are less than 50 yds so I should be good to go..
Shoulder is very sore LOL
