Default Savage 10 FP

Was at the range this week and a lady and her husband was shooting 223' s,his was a $900. gun( didn' t see his,so don' t know what it was.)she was shooting a savage 10FP and shooting shotgun hulls at 200 yds,she didn' t miss very many times either, and really outshot his more expensive gun.Hers didn' t have the new triger so I guess she had had it before they came out.
Anyone else got one of the new 10FP with the accu.triger? if so how does it shoot and what kind of price tag was it.The sugestd price in the catalog is $558.so I figure it will run around $450.
Thinking of getting one just to shoot at the range. Thanks

Herman I bought a savage 110 in 223 about 4 years ago. It was a package deal 3x9 simmmons w/ caps, sling, and trigger lock for $350. It' s a great shooter in fact on a bench I can hit a clay pigon thats laying down dome up at a 125 yrds. I' m very pleased w/ the rifle I have. The standard trigger is a little stiff but not that stiff, and the action no complaints. Just another Belly Button Good luck to ya.

Good luck getting info on that rifle. I recently posted for information also. Might want to try a search on the net. Some of the sniper web pages may have more.

I was comparing it to the Rem 700 P and Tikka Sporter, but little feedback to encourage me to buy that model over the others. So far I' m leaning towards the Tikka.

Now, if they had real nice synthtic stocks and replaced the safetys, and modify thier actions where the bullets will feed better, it will be a heck of a gun.

Well I should find out pretty soon how they work,I ordered one yesterday,The best price I could find was $475 including tax and shipping. It has the new accru-triger with 24 in barrel.
I just want it to shoot some at the range, probably just use factory cheap militery bullets since I don' t varmit hunt with a gun, only use bow for ground hogs. Will probably put a 4x16 scope on it.Will post how it shoot s when I get it .
