These two charts are from the Federal website. There's really not much difference, a gun sighted at 100 yards is also sighted in at 40 yards, and a 50 yard zero is also sighted in at 85 yards. You have to remember that the bullet crosses the line of sight twice, so in reality one is a 40 yard zero and one is a 50 yard zero.

What you'll find really weird is when you get a close shot, at 15 yards you need to aim an inch over a squirrels head. The distances between 5 and 25 yards are worse than trying to hit between 50 and 150 yards.

By the way here's a couple of pics of mine. I just refinished the stock, I dyed the wood green then finished it with tung oil. If you haven't decided on a scope yet, take a look at the Mueller APV.

Tomorrow I have someone who's going to paint Duracoat on my 10/22's trigger, trigger housing, and the bottom of the receiver. I'm leaving the top part of the receiver brushed aluminum and I'm just going to wax it.
Did you do the JB Weld on the sear to remove thr trigger slop?

Roughly how long did it take you to work the Mark 2 trigger? Had mine out over the weekend checking zero for squirrel this week, been awhile and forgot how awful the trigger was. Seriously spoiled by the triggers on my M700's and M70.
