I own a Remington 7600 synthetic 30-06. Seems like no matter what bullets i use everytime i shoot a few shots i start developing a copper colored fowling in the rifling of my barrel. Why is this happening, is it affecting my accuracy?

Only you could know if it effects your accuracy...unless we shoot your gun we couldn't possibly know that.
It happens cause thats what guns do...........

Factory barrels tend to be more porous and copper/carbon up more quickly. My Remington gets only 15-20 shots between the need to clean to preserve accuracy.
If you want to avoid it bad enough, have a quality hand-lapped after-market barrel installed. They tend to be far less prone to this.

It shouldn't be a bit deal. It's what guns do. Try shooting lead bullets and then you will see how bad the fouling can really get. But honestly, until it effects the accuracy of the rifle or you start having feeding problems depending on what kind of gun you are shooting there is no reason to worry. Just clean the gun regularly and you should be good to go.

how many rounds have you put through it??? they foul up much quicker at first then it gets some better as you break in the barrel. keep it extra clean for the first 40 rounds or so and you should be able to go atleast 20 - 30 rounds between cleaning. I use wipeout and butch's bore shine but there are a bunch of good copper solvents out there.
