I have a model 14 also ,man I had to beat the brush to get answers . The down side of the old western scrounger is that the ammo is like $35 a box $20 haz-mat $10 more for freight . After alot of searching ....................Handloader had an artical on the 32 Rem . After reading that I bought a #19 rcbs shell holder and a set of 32 Winchester special dies 2 files aLee 8mm 170 gr mould a 323 sizer and scrounged 40 or so 30-30 cases . Which only works if you hand load .
What you do is turn off the 30-30/32wcf rim and cut a new extracter groove . Delicately using the shell holder to finish the groove . I used my drill press and it's vice to hold the shell holder . Then just run them through the full length die and trim . Just 1 more thing both 32s use .321 jacketed bullets not the .323 8mm bullets .
Mine shoots about 2" with the lyman tang peep from a good rest which is a little tricky with a pump . My Speer manual states that the 32 WCF data is for 32Rem.too.
John Barness described the turn and cut in Hand Loader and both that and guns and ammo state the 32 REM and 32WCF are identical beyond the rim vs rimless .

.32 Remington Ammo Avail.
I just read your post and was wondering if you or any of the other members would be interested in some original (shootable) Remington ammunition for a .32. I recently sold my .32 to buy a .35
(both 141's) and had aquired 6 boxes (less 2 rounds in 1 box=118 rds) of Remington Hi-Speed 170 gr. soft point Core Lokt in excellent shootable condition. This ammo came out of an estate in Ca. where I was living and the gentleman had bought it all in one lot. I can send pictures if anyone is interestes.
Thanks, and thanks for keeping these great old guns alive. My next goal is to aquire a good shootable Model 8.

Can 35 Remington brass be necked down to 32 ? I don't have drawings or pieces of brass to compare them but 35 Rem. brass is fairly common.
