great job driftrider!
I can easily now see that a worn stamping of Flobert could look like Fiocerl You must be spot on as I can't think of anything I've ever seen or heard of that has this set-up, and the internet showed me the same thing you mention now that you did the detective work. Applied to me, that means that without Google, I'd be dumber than a fence post. :kt::eek2::s2: Mike |

On the 5th link make sure you scroll to the top of the page to see a good pisture of a weapon .. maybe it will look a bit like your gun http://www.ruag.co.uk/?p=8_4&t=Ammun...n%20Gun&menu=9 http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...d.php?t=333999 http://www.rememuseum.org.uk/arms/stirling/index.htm http://www.economicexpert.com/a/Rimfire.htm http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?p=467607 |
I am sure that is the right type of ammo. The gun looks alot different though. I will need to do some more searching to find it.
