Interested in the Pro Hunter Katahdin barrel for tree stand hunting Deer and possibly Bear in Pa. The 460 S&W is interesting to me because of the ability to shoot 460 S&W, 454 Casull, and 45LC. I do reload, but will using factory loads for this season. My question, what would be the best choice of the three offered, 500 S&W, 460 S&W or the 45/70 Gov. Any advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

Sounds like you may be limited to straight wall cases.If that is the case I would go with the .45-70
