Default Mossberg??

Ok, a buddy of mine showed me a 12ga Mossberg, has a rifled cantilever barrel, comes with a smooth bore, mounted Bushnell scope. Now, i am a Remington man. However when i seen this flawless gun he told me he would sell it to me for 275$...so i took it and ran(after paying him ofcourse)......Is Mossberg a good gun?

A few buds of mine have a 12 ga. Mossberg "turkey" gun in a pump action. The only problem I have ever heard has been with one of these ... failure to eject a shell because of a broken extractor claw. This happened pretty soon after he bought the thing.

I like them better than the Rems.

i have the first series Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag and still LOVE it. i have had this gun for around 14-15 years and it has never failed. i'll never buy another shotgun that doesn't have Mossberg stamped on the barrell.

The Army issues the Mossberg M500 for tactical shotguns. That's a pretty good endorsement.
