I've got the 870, and like Rammer says, its very dependable. Haven't tried it as a boat ore yet:D

Hey dad! The 870 looks sweet. I remember a doe I killed with that gun back in 1989 when she was shiny black and walnut....I like the new look.

The action on the bps is much smoother, and the fit and finish is superior to an 870 express IMO. Action also stays cleaner w/ out the side ejection port.
