7mm Remington Magnum....does it all in my humblest of opinions.. will work from 5 yards to as far as you'd care to shoot at one.. the only limit would be you and the quality of your equipment.... I've dropped them out to 700 yards with no problem whatsoever.. I know of individuals who've done it much further than that... I use 140 grain nosler partitions and noting else, neverhad a bullet fail and never had to fire a second shot to killany animal. Fueled by 62 grain of H-4350 and a Remington 9 1/2 magnum primer.... also the bullets are seated with a Wilson Straight line seater... HARD cartridge to beat, for multiple distance and all types of conditions..

Keep em' coming folks. It's gonna be a long day at work.

I've killed about 175 with my .243 somewhere around 85 of those fell to the 100gr CoreLokt...
My favorite firearm though has to be my .54 caliber flintlock, a .530 home cast ball and 80grs
of FFF Goex...

I would have to go with WBY .300 mag 180 grain Rem. CoreLokt I suppose. I've always subscribed to the "bigger is better" way of thinking. Going to start using .270 WSM this year to get some cheaper ammo.

243 85 grain BTHP.. No matter how many times I try and talk myself into thinking that this is "not a whitetail" bullet.. When that deer drops in its tracks I am alway re-convinced.
