Mossberg 535 Rust bleeding through camo

We have a Mossberg 535 2-barrel set and rust is bleeding through the camo film of both barrels in at least a dozen places. There is no rust bleed through on the magazine tube, which I believe is also steel. This gun has never been abused. I intend to contact Mossberg after turkey season. I just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience.

I looked at it under magnification, and I am quite sure that it is rust.

What you have is a gun that did not receive a proper rinse/and or treatmentafter the salt/and or camo edjing solution was applied.
And it will never quit![:@]
Contact the factory to get it replaced.
I had a Remington parkerized 742 do the same thing and I tried every solution I know of and it would not quit bleeding through. Remington finally replaced the whole gun, because of it.:):)

I contacted Mossberg customer service and they had me return the gun to them. They replaced the gun and both barrels. Outstanding customer service.

That's great to know. There are a lot of companies competing for our money, might as well buy from people who stand behind their product.

Did you happen to get blood on the barrel and miss it when you wiped the gun down? Ive seen missed blood cause this issue. I have one spot on my Winchester that was missed when i wiped the gun down after I shot a bird with it a couple years ago. Stupid me....
